How we make money

We have affiliate partnerships with eSIM providers, mostly through the Impact affiliate network. When you click one of our links to a provider and buy a plan, the provider pays us a small commission. The price you pay is the same as if you had gone to the provider directly.

We currently have affiliate links with: Airalo, Airhub, aloSIM, ByteSIM, eSIM4Travel, Esimatic, eTravelSIM, Global YO, Holafly, Jetpac, Nomad, Saily and Voye Global. This list changes when partnerships start or end.

Which links are affiliate links

Buttons such as “Get the deal”, “View plan” and “Check prices” that lead to a provider are affiliate links, and so are most text links to provider plan pages. Every page with affiliate links shows a short notice near the top. In the page code, these links are marked rel=”sponsored”, as search engines ask.

How we keep our advice independent

• Same rules for everyone. The eSIM Mentor score is worked out with the same formula for every provider, from prices, features, coverage and app ratings. How much a provider pays us is not part of it. How we research and rate explains the formula.
• Cheapest first. Plan tables and the eSIM Finder sort plans by price, whether or not we earn from them.
• Real prices only. Prices come from each provider’s own website, with the date we checked them. Old prices are flagged and then hidden.
• Verified codes only. We list a coupon only after we have checked it, with the date, and hide it again if we can’t re-check it.
• No paid placements. Providers can’t pay to be ranked higher or reviewed more kindly.

What we don’t do

We don’t accept payment for reviews, we don’t publish sponsored articles, and we don’t show display ads.
