In short
We don’t sell your data or show ads. Visitor statistics are counted on our own server without cookies. We only get your email address if you join the newsletter or write to us. When you click a link to an eSIM provider, that provider and its affiliate network handle your purchase under their own privacy policies.
eSIM Mentor (esimmentor.com) is run by HY ULTRA LTD, a company based in the United Kingdom. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean eSIM Mentor and its operator. We are responsible for the personal data described here.
Questions or requests about your data: contact@esimmentor.com.
When you visit, our web host and our security software record technical details such as your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. We use these only to keep the site running, fast and protected from attacks. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website. Logs are kept only as long as needed for these purposes and then deleted.
We count visits with Burst Statistics, which runs on our own server. It is set to cookieless mode: it uses an anonymous code that changes every day, stores no cookie on your device, and does not recognise you across days. The data stays on our server and is not shared with anyone. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful.
If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address with MailerLite (UAB MailerLite, Lithuania, EU), which sends the emails for us. MailerLite may record whether emails are opened or links are clicked. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
If you email us, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply and keep them as long as the conversation needs. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you.
Many links to eSIM providers are affiliate links. When you click one, you pass through a tracking address run by the provider’s affiliate network (mostly Impact, impact.com) before you reach the provider’s website. The network and the provider may set cookies there so the provider knows the sale came from us. We do not receive your name, email or payment details: we only see reports with totals, such as the number of sales and which of our pages they came from. The privacy policies of the network and the provider apply to anything that happens on their websites.
To show the site, your browser also connects to these services, which can see your IP address:
We also use Google Search Console to see which searches bring people to the site. It only gives us totals, not data about individual visitors.
Some of these companies are based in the United States. Where personal data leaves the UK or the European Economic Area, these providers use legal safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Depending on where you live, you have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to or limit how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. People in the EU and UK have these rights under the GDPR; people in Morocco have rights of access, correction and objection under Law 09-08. Email contact@esimmentor.com and we will answer within one month.
You can also complain to a data protection authority: in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO); in the EU, the authority in your country; in Morocco, the CNDP (Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel).
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and security software. No website is completely secure, but we keep the data we hold to a minimum.
If we change how we handle data, for example by adding Google Analytics, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it. The date at the top shows the latest version.
